a LOT

Here's the lot we're building on. It was one of the only ones we could build the 3 car garage. Has some awesome views and the sun will set in the back. We're pretty excited about our neighbors and some people that are going to live pretty close to us...

Here goes a Palermo....

Whats up people.

We're building a Palermo with Ryan Homes. We're not much of Bloggers, but thought it would help others through the process. I couldn't find any pictures of our selections and elevation so I photoshopped this picture showing how ours will look.

We're going with Elevation D, Irish Thistle siding with the Windemere brick. We've added the 3 car garage, 2 ft. extension with service door. Added the morning room, bonus room above the garage and a 72" double door in the basement. We're adding pretty much every option other than the 4 ft. extension to the office and master. We're adding windows in the morning room, dining room and home office. Adding the stone fireplace, hardwood floors, upgraded carpet and rough in plumbing in the basement.

In the kitchen we're doing the Santa Cecilia Granite, Rushmore Square Maple Glaze Hazelnut Timberlake and some hardwood floors by some guy named Bruce. The upgraded carpet isn't awesome, but we have dogs and is better than what comes standard. The hardwood is sweet, doesn't seem like scratches will matter since it's so rough cut. I'll probably take a screw driver the 1st day to it just to get over the "hope we don't scratch the floor" thing.

In the guest bathroom and in the upstairs laundry we're upgrading the linoleum. In the master bath we're going with the tile surround tub and shower "Type E Alt", double bowl sinks in both upstairs baths and the Maple Honey Timberlake cabinets.

I also made this. It shows how our house will sit on the lot.

We're in a plan that started as all Heartland Homes then when Ryan bought them, they're now building Ryan's in the new phase. We're the 1st Ryan home in there so we'll see how it goes. Our lot is pretty sweet, it has an "open space" on the right and over 100' of frontage (102.1' to be exact).

Ok, that's enough. I'll try to actually keep up with this thing.
